PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Description

We’re pleased to announce that FathomMods has secured an agreement to offer the PedalBox EV for the Ford Fathom on pre-order - making us one of the first retailers in the United States preparing this upgrade for the new electric truck. We’re awaiting the production Ford Fathom and its final specifications so we can identify and validate the correct accelerator-pedal connector before orders become payable.

PedalBox EV installs between the factory accelerator-pedal connector and the vehicle wiring harness. It refines how pedal input is translated into an electronic signal, allowing the driver to choose a smoother, more efficient response or a sharper, more immediate feel without changing the electric motor’s rated output.

The system is developed and made in Germany by DTE Systems. Five driving programs, seven levels of fine adjustment, wireless remote and app control let each driver personalize the response. Long Range mode manages acceleration peaks, while Limit Mode and the electronic immobilizer add useful control and security features.

PedalBox EV changes how the Ford Fathom’s electronic accelerator signal is translated - not the motor’s rated output. Its modern DSP hardware and vehicle-specific PerfecTune calibration are designed to deliver a more deliberate pedal feel, from smooth city driving to immediate response. Developed and made in Germany by DTE Systems, it combines German engineering with vehicle-specific calibration.

Long Range

An intelligent algorithm smooths energy peaks during acceleration. DTE reports up to 20% lower energy use in acceleration phases; actual range and savings vary with speed, traffic, weather and driving style.

Comfort

A progressive, relaxed pedal curve for controlled starts and easy low-to-midrange modulation.

Dynamic

Sharper response suited to everyday driving and quicker reactions during passing maneuvers.

Performance

The most assertive response curve across the pedal range for a sportier, more immediate feel.

Serie

Returns accelerator response to the vehicle’s standard factory characteristic.

Limit Mode

Restrict the maximum pedal signal across seven levels - useful for a new driver, valet parking or a borrowed vehicle.

Immobilizer

When enabled, the system electronically blocks accelerator input until the paired remote or smartphone is in range.

Choose a program and fine-tune it through seven settings using the included wireless remote or paired smartphone app.

INSTALLATION

Plug in. Calibrate. Personalize.

The vehicle-specific harness connects at the electronic accelerator pedal, without changing the Ford Fathom’s motor software. PerfecTune then learns the pedal range from 0 - 100%. We will publish final installation guidance after testing the production truck and confirming its connector.

Product capabilities are based on DTE Systems supplier information. Pedal response controllers do not increase rated motor power. Energy-use claims apply to acceleration phases and are not a guarantee of a specific range increase. Final Ford Fathom compatibility is not yet confirmed.

QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE

Three connections. Then calibrate.

Switch the vehicle off and keep the key or phone key away from the truck before working near the accelerator pedal.

  1. Disconnect.Release the factory vehicle wiring harness from the accelerator-pedal connector.
  2. Connect.Install the PedalBox harness inline: one plug to the pedal and the other to the factory harness.
  3. Set up.Secure the module and remote, switch the vehicle on, then complete PerfecTune calibration before selecting a mode.

Final connector location, trim removal and calibration steps will be confirmed against the production Ford Fathom. Follow the vehicle-specific instructions supplied with the finished product.
